A not-for-profit distributing company working on climate resilience since 2008.
Climate change has become one of the most critical global issues, adding stress to the lives and livelihoods of billions. To address the impacts of climate change on environment, society, and economy — and to identify mitigation and adaptation options — a group of like-minded professionals formed ADAPT-Nepal.
It was registered at the Company Registrar's Office, Government of Nepal in 2008 as a not-for-profit distributing company under the Company Act, 2063.
ADAPT-Nepal envisions that climate risks and damages can be substantially reduced through effective, socially responsible, and environmentally sustainable development of Nepal's natural and human resources — enabling Nepal to benefit socially and economically by reducing climate risks and vulnerabilities through adaptation and mitigation measures built on sound scientific evidence.
